Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
At Huroca Inc. (“Huroca”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users, partners, and visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or engage with our services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the website (such as our contact form or booking a call), or otherwise when you contact us. Our hosting provider and the embedded services listed in section 3 also receive technical information automatically, such as your IP address and browser type.
- Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, the organization you are with, and anything you include in your message or booking.
- Business Data: Information related to your feedlot, plant, or other operations if provided during pilot program inquiries.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect or receive:
- To respond to your inquiries and to schedule the calls you request.
- To evaluate partnerships for our pilot programs.
- To send you marketing and promotional communications (with your consent).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service Providers and Where Information Is Stored
We use service providers to run parts of this website. Some of them collect, process, or store information outside Canada, primarily in the United States, and in other countries where these providers operate:
- Formspree delivers the messages you send us through the contact form.
- Cal.com shows the booking calendar on our Contact page and handles the calls you book and the details you enter when booking. Loading the calendar connects your browser to Cal.com, which sets cookies it needs to run.
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type.
- Google Maps and YouTube provide the map and video embedded on some pages. When you load those pages, Google may set cookies and collect usage information under its own privacy policy.
Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of the country where it is held. To ask about, or get a written copy of, our policies and practices for service providers outside Canada, contact our Privacy Officer using the details below.
4. Data Storage and Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
5. Accessing or Correcting Your Information
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our further use of it, by emailing us at the address below. We keep inquiry and booking information only as long as we need it to respond and to manage our relationship with you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).
