Automated Cattle Treatments
Building the Future of
Feedlot Cattle Care
Huroca is building autonomous robotics to automate routine cattle procedures, cutting labour, injury risk, and stress out of the feedlot.
Here in Alberta:
70.5%
of Canada's fed cattle are raised here
1.7M
beef cows are on Alberta farms

The Opportunity
Why Huroca, Why Now
Alberta alone raises 70.5% of Canada's fed cattle, almost all still handled by hand for routine procedures.
A Repetitive, High-Risk Process
Feedlot cattle are handled two to four times for routine procedures like injections. Each time brings injury risk for workers, stress for the animals, and inconsistent records. It is manual, repetitive work, built for automation.
Autonomous Precision at the Chute
Huroca's robotic system is designed to automate procedures at the restraint chute, guided by vision. The aim is less manual handling, with better accuracy and animal welfare.
From Lab to Field Pilots
We're moving from provisional patent filing and in-lab testing to in-field pilot studies with feedlot partners over the next year.
